He's well known at the [link].cyfrowa usenet group because of his incredible photos of civil and army aircrafts. He made fantastic pictures of first Polish F-16's, american aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln at the Persian Gulf, police helicopters in LA and many others.

Recently Adobe showed new public beta version of Adobe Lightroom - complex application for photographs. I used previous version public beta 3 and it was really interesting thing. This program is a competition to Apple Aperture and the both present totally new vision of digital photo workflow, from raws to final product (slideshow, prints or bunch of files).

What new in beta 4? The most important thing is that Lightroom is much faster now. It's not perfect (for that I'm waiting for final version with 2 or 3 patches ), but work is simply nicer. They also changed interface in several places, so this is much easier to operate. Because it's a public beta, so engineers in Adobe are waiting for every commentaries, suggestions and founded bugs - I think that most of the changes were made because some users have complained and voted for them.

I just saw (and used for a while) new DSLR Panasonic Lumix DSC-L1. This camera is absolutely gorgeous. Classic design like old Leica's. It doesn't has any mode dial - instead it there is a shutter dial, and aperture ring is placed at lens. Just like old, classic cameras like Zenith or Practica! If someone want to set a priority mode or full auto mode, he should set one or both of them on A-set. Camera has also Olympus E-330-like LiveView mode and bulit-in flash which can be set normally or 45-degrees up. Bad news is its prive only - 2000$ is about 800$ too much. Shame, too shame. :/
